No. On a Mac without a notch, or on an external display, MakerNotch opens as a panel from the top of the screen.
Only what the tools you connect expose to a read-only key: pull requests, CI runs, deploys, payments, issues and so on. Requests go from your Mac straight to each provider. Keys live in the macOS Keychain; projects and notes stay on your Mac.
Use a Stripe restricted key with read-only permissions. MakerNotch checks it with one read request before saving it, and never writes to your account.
Hover the notch, or click the MakerNotch icon in the menu bar. ⌘1–9 switches tabs and Esc closes the panel.
It stays out of the way: MakerNotch doesn't cover apps in full screen.
Yes. Every tab can be hidden, and you can drag tabs to reorder them.

One Mac at a time per license. To move it to another Mac, release the old one from Settings → License or from the customer portal.
